Love From Families and Educators

1st Grade Teacher

"Recently I had the privilege of referring children with various reading and academic struggles to Farrin McCue. I was able to watch them, over time, blossom into more confident, competent, and most importantly, happy students. Most of the children I referred to her had negative emotional responses to their learning struggles. When specific building block skills were addressed and strengthened, you could see the children become experts in their area of growth. Their attitudes began to change, turning in a new direction towards growth and confidence.

She helps demystify the children of their struggles, and supports their strengths in a really fun, but structured learning environment. Children that once labeled themselves as "stupid" began to have a more positive self image."

Happy Parent of a Former Client

"Farrin is an incredible resource. My daughter worked with Farrin for several years, starting in 2nd grade and Farrin was an academic life saver for her. I know it can be a struggle for parents to find the right support for their child with learning differences/dyslexia. Farrin has the most warm-hearted, calm, and encouraging teaching style. She is too good to be kept a secret so I want to share her services with all! I can't say enough good things about Farrin."

College Student

"Farrin's compassion mixed with professionalism made it easy for me to build a trusting relationship with her. She has a gentle and considerate way of enforcing the rules, fostering a perfect learning environment. It was easy to connect with her and she is an amazing person to work with. When I first met her, I could immediately sense she cared about my success...not only in this program, but in school and life."

High School Student

"After a few months working with Farrin, I actually read my first book for pleasure all on my own! Not only did it surprise my parents to find me reading Harry Potter, but I also surprised myself in how much I enjoyed reading books. Before I knew it, I finished the book and continued to read through the entire series."

2nd Grade Teacher

"Farrin has a light hearted approach, and a wonderful laugh, which puts children at ease. At the same time she has an extremely sharp mind and pushes them to grow and develop. She holds them to high standards and believes in them.

I would wholeheartedly recommend Farrin to anyone looking for a fantastic and motivating specialist who has an open heart, and is willing to work with parents in a supportive, and loving environment!"

Parent of a 4th Grader

"Our son did therapy with Farrin for several years and it made a huge difference in his reading and articulation skills. We -- and he -- are thrilled with his progress. Plus, Farrin makes the lessons fun so he always looked forward to his sessions with her. Thank you so much Farrin!

Parent of a Middle Schooler

"Reading books was not the only outcome to my daughter working with Farrin. She began to actually like school and feel like she was understanding how to read and write. This boosted her confidence...not only making her feel as though she was on a closer academic level with her peers, but also in her becoming more social and involved in the classroom."

Parent of a 3rd Grader

"We met with the neuropscyhologist last week and my child has a lot of opportunities to grow. But one thing was crystal clear: without Farrin's early help and intervention, he may never have learned to read. She has impacted his whole life and future. She has had an incredible impact on his world. We are forever grateful for all Farrin has done and continues to do. Thank you!!!"
